…Please be seated. Well, I know you have waited and we have to start this course today and I like to share certain things which I feel are responsible that you are auraAura

on business. We took the exact quotes, we have printed them so that all you can have.
The biggest businessman on this planet and for this planet is God Himself. Managed to have spring, summer, winter, fall, create, recreate, and three faculties of the God, three faculties of God to,
“Ik sansaaree ik bhandaaree ik laa-e deebaan”
“To grow, to give birth, to maintain, sustain and to destroy.”
Sometime you are very afraid, so and so is dead. In business also destroying is a part of business. If you are in fruit business you can't keep the rotten fruit on the shelves. You have to destroy. You may like it or not. Sometime you have to pay for destroying as we pay for disposing of a physical body, it costs about three thousand dollars to dispose off a human body. But if you sell it, it gives you about eleven hundred dollars, so you have to make a choice what you want. We are so commotionally and emotionally in business sense, we don’t care what is loss and what is gain, all we care is what we are talking about. And one thing we are very disturbed about all the time is that in our business, in our creative business right here we only do business today, now, profit and loss. But normally when we do business in the business sense we take care of what is called the business for goodwill. We create business and we create goodwill. Business cannot flourish right next minute. It's not good business. Some business start giving profit, maybe two years, maybe ten years, maybe six years. And we take money either on loan from bank or from relative or friends and we put it together, it is called ‘Pool money.’
So our life, pranaPraana
, Prana
The universal life force that gives motion. It is the breath in air. It is the subtle breath of the purusha as it vibrates with a psychophysical energy or presence. Praana regulates the modes and moods of the mind.
is a pool money of our sahanskar. Our previous lives. And we have X amount of pranaPraana
, Prana
The universal life force that gives motion. It is the breath in air. It is the subtle breath of the purusha as it vibrates with a psychophysical energy or presence. Praana regulates the modes and moods of the mind.
, that’s the pool money. And then we start doing living. Nurtured, nursed, childhood, parents, some people are lucky to have good rich parents, some are unfortunate, they have poor parents, some people have good environments, some have bad environment, sometime in the middle environments freak out, sometime people get this, people get that. So there are always ups and downs in business. There are ups and downs in nature. As God is the businessman and the proprietor and the president of this planet earth and so is the Mother Nature is the expansion of it, creativity of it. But ultimately you do not work shallow. The value you are unable to get in your life is because you do not concentrate to be expert. You want to become professional, professional is not enough.
I have seen so many doctors, so many attorneys, when they get to the prime of their life and their career they freak out, they cannot handle their personal life. They fall apart. You have to not overdo things, not to under do things. You have to have aim at one thing, don’t become rich, don’t become happy, don’t become expert, become specialist. Specialize your trade of life. Richness will come to you, security will come to you, happiness will come to you.
When President Reagan was sick, who operated on him? Special doctor. It is the specialty which aimed to be achieved. What you do? Hotchpotch. Oh! This is beneficial, this is happy, this is good, this I can get, that I can get, you won’t get anywhere.
Business is a creative sense. And key to richness is to be specialized in that what you want to achieve. In the words of GuruGuru
That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word.

“Jab Lag Khalsa Rehey Niaaraa, Thab Lag Tej De-o Mei Saharaa, Jab Eh Ga-eh Bipran Kie Reet, Thau Na Haroo En Kee Prateet.”
Niaraa, specialized. Niaraa means not separated one, niaraa word comes from noor, noor means the light. Then you become star of the light. That’s word niaraa means. You have to qualify yourself like the evening star, everybody looks at it, like the North Pole star, everybody needs its guidance. Have you seen North Pole star coming down and talking to you, “Hey, please take my guidance.” Has that happened ever?
We do it, we need it, we want to know, we want to know where north is, then we want to know where south is, then we want to know where east is, then we want to know where west is. When I see you, I see you poor. When I see you at your auraAura

, I see you rich. The greatest problem in your life is, in your life business is, you do not know how saintly you are, how powerful you are. You do not value your own values. That’s the greatest problem you have got. Just understand one thing, I have not created you, your parents have not created you, it is the will of God which has created you. It's the will of God which will sustain you, and it will be the will of God which will take you to go away. Are you going to leave behind goodwill and business or only business; that’s the only decision you have to make. There was a time when Sampooran, where you hey, Sampooran?
Okay, Sampooran was sent here to take care of Baba Siri Chand ashramAshram
, Aashram

. A one example I want to give and it is practically you can verify it, he is here. And one day Washington called me that Sampooran wants to take away the curtain of the Hacienda de Guru Ram Das
, The Ashram
The grounds of Yogi Bhajan's traditional home and ranch in Espanola, NM, as well the surrounding businesses, gurdwara and langar hall.

have no curtains?”
They said, “There is no money.”
I said, “Tell him, hold on for three days, money will come and he can make payments.”
So some work came to him and he made the payment. That’s how Sampooran started. I don’t how many houses Sampooran has got, ten, eighteen, God knows. He is a pretty rich guy, he doesn’t pretend to be rich. He is one of the rich guys among you. Now last night he was telling me, he has forty acres of nursery.
And I said, “Whom it belong to?”
He said, “To the bank.”
I said, “What about you?”
He said, “Oh, kind of me too, but you know…”
That’s the way he talks. But there was one time when Sampooran was so rich, he wanted to buy a huge house and wanted to live. And he asked me, I said, “Sampooran, this house where you live, it has a GuruGuru
That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word.

temple on the wall of entrance. The artist who made it has gone, we cannot reproduce it. If you sell this house, Baba Siri Chand won’t like it.” I said, “But you can sell it if you want.”
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: Ask Sampooran when he decided to sell that house he didn’t have even money to pay his next employee. Everything went under his feet like this. He called me, he said, “What should I do?”
I said, “Look to the sky and yell and scream, I will never sell, say it three times, I will never sell this house, I will never sell this house, I will never sell this house. Three times,” I said, “Everything will be all right. Baba Siri Chand is very kind, he will forgive you.”
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: Now buy that house from Sampooran for ten million dollars, try it, take a truck and take the money in it and try to pay him, he won’t let you enter the property. It is not that house, it is not the vibrations, it is that commitment.
We who are here, let me tell you the history of America. In the sixties, we Americans revolted. It's a very silent history, but it has to be repeated. Twenty million young Americans revolted against Americans’ nonsense. Twenty million. You say how many people died in this when we Yankees and southern… Civil war?
Students: (----).
YB: Nothing. Nothing. Twenty million Americans revolted in the sixties. American government is such a gladiator it took toll of everything. Some backed off, some gave up, some died of OD. I have seen myself dead bodies in New Mexico just frozen to death and nobody even wants to identify them. Young people, beautiful people. People who have assets or what you call them trusts by their parents, millions of dollars, dying, nobody cared. Out of whole that revolution one million people saved themselves totally. This society has consumed them back. But some stronger one still continues and out of the strongest came the 3HO. Now you think you are very weak, I don’t believe you. You are the steadiest, the strongest who continue that spirit. And don’t misunderstand, we don’t need army and atom bomb to conquer America. Not at all. That’s not the way, all we need is one man, one woman, one consciousnessConsciousness
The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality.
and one child who can be given values by that mother and by that father that tomorrow the entire world shall bow to that man.
“Jis neech ko koyi na janey, namNaam
, Nam
The manifested identity of the essence. The word derives from Naa-ay-ma , which means "that which is not, now is born." A Naam gives identity, form, and expression to that which was only essence or subtle before. It is also referred to as the Word.
japath choukand maney”
“That mean, mean man who sins and sins again and again…”
You remember that song? Let us sing it.
(Students sing ‘Oh that mean, mean man who sins…’)
(Song stops.)
YB: Now tell me this is how we started. Right? Fifteen-sixteen years ago. What's gone wrong with us? We never had money, nobody gave us, we never had clothes, nobody clothed us, we never had houses, nobody housed us, we have now the most beautiful homes, beautiful clothing, well dressed up, we can stand out among one million people. Not only that, even the Indian Sikhs, when look at you, they say, my God! You know how much payment willing people to pay for just this expression? We are in business, this is the business. said,
“Jab Lag Khalsa Rehey Niaaraa, Thab Lag Tej De-o Mei Saharaa.”
“I shall give all the brightness and all the light till you become the star on the horizon of human self.”
Pure self, Khalsa. Then why to corrupt? Little corruption here, little corruption there. I do very funny things, I start playing with you. We used to have sin time. We used to say, let us sin. It used to be Coca-Cola and popcorn, remember. And now it is the chocolates and it is everything else. Our list in sinning is getting little bigger, than it was originally desired. Idea why we used to sin was that we wanted to get rid of the most biggest sickness in the western civilization, that’s the guilt. In Sikh Sikh Dharma
A living experience of values as taught in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib.
DharmaSikh Dharma
A living experience of values as taught in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib.
Dharma
A path of righteous living. It is both an ideal of virtue and a path of action that is infused with clear awareness and comprised of actions that are the soul in total synchrony with the universe. It is action without reaction or karma.
there is no guilt. And one thing I want to let you know. You are all aurically rich, your arc line is perfect, you are physically very poor, some are just millionaire, that’s not worth it. If one is a millionaire he must have twenty millions at least if he is originally would have behaved. And we are a young community, young nation, we started with no capital and now we have all the capital. Now this is how it works.
Capital is the creative sense of a person and the creative proposal can get any capital. You all say, who will give you the money. You take the proposal, make it viable, make it perfect, go to the bank, bank will love to come after you. First you are weirdo and bank will look at it. “Who are you?” First he thought perhaps you are Arabian. Then he will think you are Iranian. Then he will think you are this, you are that. When he goes through all that, then he will find out you are a Khalsa, then he says, “Well, I don’t think I have a loan for you.” You will be rejected outright and that is your victory. When senses do not willing to accommodate concessions the person who can freak out anybody in sensory situation is always victorious. Remember this. This is a law. Exploit it as much, when I stand out, the moment person starts thinking who is he, I have won already. Now further is a matter of negotiation. When you freak out the senses of accommodation of rational and logic in any person, you have already won, because the best defense is logic, reason and timing. And when reason and logic is already gone, timing is already on your side.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: True. I don’t know why you are poor. Where is Ram Das Singh?
Ram Das Singh was to buy an house and I told the bank… Ram Das Singh, if I am wrong please correct me, and then Ram Das Singh told me that bank is… how much was the money?
Student: (----).
YB: That (?) bank was supposed to give?
Student: (----).
YB: Something like that. And the bank said, he called and they said, “We have a branch in San Diego which will process the thing and it is going to be sanctioned,” is that so?
Student: (----).
YB: I said, “But who you talked to?”
He said, “To the bank manager and bah-bah-bah.”
I said, “Okay.” I called their office in San Francisco. I talked to the president. President was not available, there was a vice-president. I said, “Mr. Vice president, I have got a very big account in your bank branch such and such, you can verify it and if by 11 o'clock to Ram Das Singh the check and credit and loan is not sanctioned, I am going to withdraw my money.”
(Students’ laughter...)
He said, “I don’t understand.”
I said, “You run that bank with my money and you don’t know me, you are the sickest man I have talked to in so many years.”
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: Ram Das Singh, check came or not?
Student: It came.
YB: Yeah, it came. Baba Singh sent flowers to somebody. Baba Singh?
Student: Sir.
YB: You sent flowers to Boca Raton.
Student: Yes sir.
YB: They didn’t deliver it, and the party concerned to whom they were sent called and they said, “Our delivery is out, sometime it will reach you.”
I said, “Give me the number.” It was Boca Raton flower shop. I called the lady and she said, “Who is this?”
I said, “I can hold, don’t worry.”
“What do you want?”
I said, “Nothing, I want to talk to somebody.”
“Talk to me.”
I said, “You are very upset. Could you give me the owner of the shop?” There came after two-three minutes another lady. It was a telephone call, I said, “I got the flowers sent, they have not been delivered.”
She said, “What is the name?”
I gave the name, address, everything. And I said, “Look, if within the hour the flowers are not delivered, I am going to call ‘Better Business Bureau,’ I am going to talk to flower shop association of America and I am going to sue you.”
(Students’ laughter...)
She said, “Sir, sir, we are going to deliver it right…”
I said, “That’s it, that’s what I want to hear that they are to be delivered,” and she called up those people and said, “Please don’t leave the home, I am sending the flowers, I am willing to duplicate it, I am sorry,” it's called effectiveness in business.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: This is the business. Business is not what you do, business which does not carry effectiveness does not carry itself. Take this line and write it down on your forehead and hang a billboard on your house and put it on the roof so that at night you can read it.
Business is business and business is to keep busy. And to keep busy for, for, for…
Students: (----).
YB: For profit.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: No business is done for emotion, to please your wife or to seek your girlfriend and go in the back of the room and make love. You creeps, I know you. Stop it, that’s corruption. Business house is a altar which has to be pure, sanctified, honest. People must trust you. You are the Sikhs of the GuruGuru
That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word.
, if you give a word, live for it, if you can't, die for it. We die before we fall. That’s a song we conclude ‘Our ceremony’ remember that? One law of business is you may not be worthy or trustworthy but your words should be as good as gold. Your word should be as good as?
Students: Gold.
YB: That’s called goodwill. Your word should be as good as?
Students: Gold.
YB: Where you are going to write that?
Students: Forehead.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: Yeah. That is the principle of every businessman. Whenever you bring emotions into business, commotion into business, feelings into business, you lose business. That’s no business. Business is meant for?
Students: Profit.
YB: And profit is meant for?
Student: (---)
YB: Profit is meant to make further profit.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: And when there is a lot of profit what you are going to do?
Students: (----).
YB: What?
Students: (----).
YB: When there is a lot of profit then comes to the third law of Nanak, share, then establish other businesses and let your brother work in it, you will make more business and more profit. Then one day you can sit in Bahamas and do snorkel sailing and whatever and somebody shall be working and shall be grateful, because his word is as good as?
Students: Gold.
YB: And you are as good as?
Students: Gold.
YB: Somebody’s work is as good as gold and you are as good as gold, you are in business. So long your word is as good as gold, you have to work. Okay. But when you are as good as gold and somebody’s work is as good as gold, you are in?
Students: (----).
YB: When money produces the profit, you are in…
Students: (----).
YB: When businesses produces the money, you are worker. So these are the ideal stages in economics. Adjustment of the cooperative executive in cooperation of the entire management and entire management has to have a complete harmony, complete harmony must have a harmony with the sale purchase and all three organizations to produce to sell and to manage must be in one unison harmony and in complete control. And what is that control? Work for me, I will work for you. Me and you are?
Students: One.
YB: God and me?
Students: Are one.
YB: Me and God?
Students: Are one.
YB: One who works for you is you. Hey, very difficult. One who works for you?
Students: You.
YB: Is?
Students: You.
YB: The brick in the basement is responsible for penthouse. Brick in the basement are?
Students: (----).
YB: Because it's carrying the load. All businesses fail when the foundation is cracked up. And what is the foundation of business?
Students: (----).
YB: Profit. Business has no purpose other than profit. Why God created the world? Why He created this business?
Student: (----).
YB: To be praised. Just read Gita, the most beautiful thing, he said, Krishna, “Surrender to me.” Why Krishan said, “Surrender to me,” that’s very humiliating, you don’t have to do that. Because law of command is those who obey, those who obey shall command. Those who obey?
Students: Shall command.
YB: If your profit is based on a project which is honest, which has the goodwill and you have the word that as gold, you have all what you need. Now look at it, we have Akal Security business, right they are willing to say, “If you send a Sikh guard we are willing to pay you eight dollars an hour, if you send non-Sikh guard, six dollars an hour.” We say, “We can't discriminate, it's Akal Security, we are all one,” they say, “No. Then if it is all one, send me the Sikh guard.”
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: “But what is in a Sikh guard? He has extra beard, what he is going to do with it. He has a turban?”
He said, “No, that’s not true. We need a Sikh guard, we can't explain it to you.”
“Sikh guard can be weird too.”
They say, “That’s all right. A weird Sikh guard is better than the other guard.”
Now there is a problem. Why? There is a one thing called reputation. And reputation doesn’t happen in a day, it has centuries behind it. What is our reputation?
Students: (----).
YB: Our honesty is when things are down and darkest we walk…
Students: Tallest.
YB: That’s our honesty. When things are down and?
Students: Darkest.
YB: We walk the?
Students: Tallest.
YB: Either you obey what is written on your forehead or you write what you want on your forehead, you decide it. I want you to understand one thing. There is only one business which I am in. And I want you to join me in that business. Sit and be you, so everything should come to you. Going after things is chasing in darkness, it will take away your health from you, it will make you go crazy, and it's not worthwhile. Let you be you. Listen to me, God couldn’t create better than you. If He could have, He would have.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: I am just… I love it. If He could have…
Students: He would have.
YB: He couldn’t, He wouldn’t, therefore I am I am. Why to worry?
Look, in sixteen years we have started with nothing, and today we have everything, but that’s not enough. Enough is enough. You know what I mean? Now there are certain things we must do in business. We have now a central data bank in Los Angeles. We can compute your problem in seconds. If you will be well behaved we won’t charge you. If you will not be well behaved we will charge you so heavily that you won’t call us. But we can totally analyze and advise your businesses anytime you want, provided you are not very emotional about it. Secondly, we are going to constitute a panel in business bureau we will call it, in which we can totally advise you free how to set up your business and we will go side by side, provided you send us the data, so we can analyze it and we can send it back to you, letting you know where you stand. Execution will not do it for you. Execution you should do. But we can tell you where you are. And lastly, if you want to deal in the money market asking for a loan, planning and all that, we can do figures for you. Figures never lie, men do lie. But there is a way to put the figures in such a way that they look very, very good.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: Good figures are good figures. Don’t you say, ‘oh! So and so has a very good figure, right.’ You know what I mean? Exactly that way. We can do very good make up for your figures and can present it in such a way that you will never regret it. You understand that? And please call. And these days you don’t have to go round and round, you just press.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: And every woman knows how to press the button of the man, every man knows how to press the button of the woman, right? So stop that and press the button on the telephone. That will make you healthy, happy and holy. Enjoy your nine holes. What did I say?
Students: (----).
YB: Press the button on the?
Students: Telephone.
YB: D & T advertise you. What they say commercial.
Students: (----).
YB: Reach out someone and touch.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: With your touch reach out someone and we will touch you very deeply. Okay. And next year we are going to have what they call it analysis computer, we will have all the software we need, and we have started very good this year and we hopefully will come through. Number two, second proposal is those who want to be the part of the banking system of the Khalsa commonwealth, they can let us know if they can participate money wise so that we can have a common block of the money through which we can loan you at a reasonable interest provided your collateral is better than the bank of America accepts.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: You know what I mean? So basically we are in business now and we are making few very beautiful progresses and proposals and my idea is that we are established in office and we will give out the number of the central data bank to all of you and you can call anytime you want and I think Sopurkh has to take a computer receiving call system and then what we are going to create a system in software that your call comes in, computer reads it, sends it to its own sections, prepare the answers, talk to us and we just do little macho business over it and tell you what is going on. You know what I mean? We are not willing to work, because our word is as good as gold. But basically there is a system to do it and we want to create a central system to serve you for your prosperity and for your future. And we want you to understand we are not willing to stop where we are.
Some of you have a conflict, ‘oh! Well, you know I am all right.’ There is nothing all right. We got to understand, there are thousands among us who are willing to be paid and willing to be helped and willing to be nursed, there are lot of children, there are lot of parents who can't afford their children to be educated and we don’t want our future generation to be totally under educated or low educated under any circumstances. We want to work for children and we want to work and we want the money, any money which shall come, shall be used for tomorrow. I have done it, I want you to follow it. You know I can look in your eyes and tell you, I have earned, I have given and I feel grateful and so you. Because we are the remnants of those twenty millions who laid their life and die in silence, so we can be today sitting here and talking. We didn’t come out of the air. The sacrifice which America made is much more. The toll we have paid is too heavy. And we have to honor those who have died in silence. So we don’t have to cry. We have to prove in this country that a country is free and it's the home of the brave. And we are establishing that. Do you hear me?
Students: Yes sir.
YB: You understand that?
Students: Yes sir.
YB: So ladies, stop those emotions. Stop being emotional. Man comes, beaten out, tired, lying, this, that whole thing and you are ready like a…
“What about the dinner tonight?”
“Ah! You didn’t call me. My father used to get this, my mother used to get this…”
What are you talking about? Exploit this man and let him create so much that we have abundance. And woman has a man in it, so that part has to be exploited out of woman too. So don’t think “I am just meant to sleep, I can't get up before 11 o'clock, my head is hurting, my hips are hurting, my whole thing is hurting,” what the hell you are talking, nothing is hurting.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: You do everything, plus you. He is simply a man, you are a wow- man. You know these days sell those guys, what are they called. He-man!
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: You are she man, she man and he man, he, she and it man, you know what I mean?
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: Yes, SatSat
Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself.
SimranSimran
A deep meditative process in which the naam of the Infinite is remembered and dwelled in without conscious effort.
, you are telling something.
Student: (----).
YB: Well, you freeze, you know you don’t come to those business courses, that’s the problem. We have a technical sense of making money. And we believe that honestly in this country money can be made. The problem only is how to keep it making. So do not go for short term things. And how many people have read my book, ‘OPI, OPM. Business cycle success,’ come on.
You see, this is what you do. Get those two-three books, read them, make the basic essence and let us start doing further. We are not only teaching you how to do business, we are teaching you how to be excellent in business. God is nothing but business. He has three divisions of it, creating, organizing and destroying. So please understand, okay. You follow that? And when you are in trouble do not sit home and feel depressed. What is the number?
Student: Area code: 213-2773102.
YB: Repeat.
Student: Area code: 213-2773102.
YB: Now everybody repeat.
Students: Area code: 213-2773102.
YB: This is the number, if you touch you may not get reply right away, but within seventy-two hours somebody will be around you and say, “What is your problem?”
But you will be helped. And don’t forget to call.
We are on our way not to do business, we are on our way to be successful in business and we should be on our way to create business. Hey you stand up, you corner. Artist, this guy is worth one million dollar year tax paid, prepaid. Now how much you make?
Student: (----).
YB: Now can you believe this crazy bum? Five hundred a week. All it takes is put two pieces together, shape them and make it called ultra art and he knows it. He knows ancient art and if he takes that ancient art and put to ultra art, his one piece can be sold for thousands of dollars and he has that capacity, look at him. He has beard longer than me, isn't it? He looks good. But what he did is, he doesn’t put it together. He has wood pieces, what you are going to give to your daughter in dowry? Yeah, he has wood pieces, far out wood pieces, he is sitting on them.
(Students’ laughter...)
Side B
Heck out of him. I said, “Move, move, move do something.” You know what he should be doing? He should be having four-five people creating pieces of art and doing exhibitions and letting the world know there is a man, there is one Khalsa, who is the best of all. Who can bring the past and the future together in the eyes of all. This guy. I took his two stones, I told him how to cut it, I told him fix this way. And there are other things I am going to do to it and I am going to prove it to you. You know we took certain things. We took one GuruGuru
That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word.
Guru Ram Das
Fourth Guru of the Sikhs.

picture, right, and we took certain type of jewelry and who, Siri Ram designed it, Hari Har Singh put it together, Gur Bachan brought jewelry from Albuquerque and we had picture engraved from India, it's a piece of art on this Baisakhi we are going to show you. Oh! Yeah, Shamsher gave all the, what the blue stone is, lapis. It's unbelievable. It's so beautiful that we have to put bullet proof glass in front of it. That’s what I am going to do. Understand? Right?
So what we are going to do is to make a advisory bureau for businesses and in which we like to educate, go along with you, work along with you and try to contribute as much as we can, so that sometime when you are depressed and you forget… Hey, when you are depressed take three cups of yogiYogi
One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery.
tea with two 96R with each. Depression gets depressed. Try it. Don’t tell me anything. What is the formula?
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: How many 96R will be?
Students: (----).
YB: How many cups of yogiYogi
One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery.
tea?
Students: (----).
YB: If please you do not get out of depression call me collect and I will call you back.
Student: (----).
YB: No, (?).
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: There are very obedient students sitting here.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: That will be too much 96R 6 will take you to, you will start having wings out of the armpits.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: That is pretty dangerous, but we give a reasonable break. Okay there are some questions. Now our services start combined. Come on. Sopurkh will tell the question, I will give you the answer, quick, hurry up.
Sopurkh: Okay, when one is not in management or a decision making position in business but has a valuable service to offer how can the person obtain profits from that business.
YB: Negotiate. Any valuable thing has no price until not negotiated. Prepare your values or your service values or your thought values and add finder’s fee and future impact of waiting and plus your own personality price and plus all that profit in relationship to business made, multiply it with three and put the cost.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: As simple as that. Next.
Sopurkh: You once mentioned that it takes ten dollars to maintain the grace of one dollar, is this applicable to business?
YB: The backing, the backing, the goodwill, and your real value should be ten dollars, if you really want to enjoy one dollar. It's true, it's a international known fact. You value things in a temporary sphere. Temporary sphere does not pay at all. It is just now. So your continuity needs another nine dollars to back it up.
Sopurkh: What is the legitimate role of credit, borrowing power to grow and run a business?
YB: That we have told you. OPI, OPM. Other people intelligence and other people money. Sit on it and you are the richest man. Fools work, wise people manage.Sopurkh: Please speak on the concept of honesty in business What is the balance between naïve openness and heart centered honesty.
YB: Use heart centered honesty when you want to surely get it. And naïve openness is when you want to lose.
Sopurkh: When growth dictates expansion and hiring of additional staff how best does one take the first step?
YB: Just remember, when you hire somebody, you must understand that you are already in a position of management. Failure in management is such a drag which you cannot re-compensate. Don’t hire and forget to manage, that’s the greatest mistake in every business people have done. And manage is not that you have to work, manage is to compute, manage is to remember, compute, do not allow deadline date to make you dead. That’s called management. Deliver twenty-four hours advance of the deadline. That’s the one test of the management. Understand? If you deliver twenty-four hours before the deadline, you may not be rewarded but you will always get business and you always have a thanks.
Sopurkh: How do the different temperaments relate to business success? What must each balance, what are the weaknesses to avoid and what is the best combination?
YB: Temperament and moods are for the swimming pool, they are not for the business. Business is a calculated game for profit. And one mistake can pull the rug under your feet. Emotions, feelings and moods have no catch with business. Business is to calculate and to recalculate and take a calculated risk. And if you hit the button at the right time, you make the best. And when you are in mood and you want to express your mood feelings, emotions, please jump in a swimming pool and find it out how strong you are. Let the water beat you and let you beat the water. But in business be calm, be sober, be contained. Be calm?
Students: Be sober, be contained.
Sopurkh: The GuruGuru
That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word.
often tells us not to be attached to riches, how does this relate to prosperity?
YB: GuruGuru
That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word.
says, don’t be attached to riches, but he never says don’t be rich.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: Having money and giving away is saintliness, having no money and giving away nothing is a poverty. And such poor is a cursed one. Have and then don’t have. That is Thyag. Got it? What is the use of that wolf who has lost his teeth, who has become vegetarian? Make money and distribute, give for good causes. Glorify the GuruGuru
That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word.
, let everybody know in the world Sikhs are the givers, Sikhs are the honest, Sikhs are the men of word, Sikhs are men of character, Sikhs are the men of commitment, Sikhs knows what grace is, Sikh shall die but shall never cheat.
Add to your adverbs the degrees which GuruGuru
That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word.
is expected of you and do it so good that your presence may work, you may not have to.
Sopurkh: How much do we just open up to allow the GuruGuru
That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word.
to work through us and how much do we have to take command in the situation?
YB: Put GuruGuru
That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word.
in your heart and take command of your head and calculate perfect. Eighteen hours a day is not a work at all. And one minute a day is not work at all. It is the intelligence which is the reward. Not the commotional nonsense. Work intelligently and consciously, you shall never fail.
Sopurkh: With a couple who are married and both are earning good money what is the fair way to share household and dharmic expenses?
YB: Hundred percent. Sharing is hundred percent. I know there are certain men, they say, ‘well, I will pay twenty percent for the child milk and you pay sixty percent,’ I have never understood that. Insecurities are insecurities in every form and shape. And the only thing which the insecurity will give you the ulcers. Dr. Avtar Singh is sitting there ask him. There is no need of any insecurity whatsoever. We don’t have to be insecure about anything.
Sopurkh: What will happen to the economy between 1988 and 2000 and what are the areas of opportunity that will manifest in the upcoming economic upheaval.
YB: Well, as far as economic upheaval is concerned we should not be very much worried. Let us first become a economic force. Okay. Then we will do what we have to do. We are alive and well and we will compute according to the circumstances.
There are two ways; follow the prediction or make the prediction, which one you want.
Students: Make prediction.
YB: Thank you.
Sopurkh: What should our attitude be as Sikhs when some members of our family go bankrupt and other members are very rich due to the economy.
YB: Those who go bankrupt it means bank is corrupt. Their bank is corrupt somewhere. And we are willing to educate people and help them to come through. But the main problem is now that’s why we have the central data bank, that you don’t have to go bankrupt and you don’t have to do foolish way things. So you should be every time consciously aware what is going on. So you can match up.
Next. Oh! These are the questions, right? And what was that thing which was very good? These are the questions which were asked for today. Siri Ved. There is a song no woman, what was that. We will like to give you one song for the essence of the woman who wants to be very prosperous. You like to hear that?
Students: Yes sir.
YB: Watch out. Come on quick. The other one, you got to know the man-woman. You got to noble woman right away. No, no, first the basic song. This song you know, can you sing? The noble woman? Later we will sing, we will sing it for the noble woman who has come among us, you know. Maa Jyotishanand Saraswati. We will sing the song for her glory. But first song we will sing the other one, come on quick.
Student: (----).
YB: See he has un-winded.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: Well, you mean, you were listening it at night? Did you play it last night, it is unwinded?
(The tape ‘You go to know the man…’ is played in the class...)
YB: (Over tape) truly yours.
(Tape stops.)
YB: Okay, okay, well the culprit who wrote the lyrics is called YogiYogi
One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery.
Bhajan.
(Students’ laughter...)
(Applause...)
YB: It's a very philosophical truth. You got to know the man-woman truly yours. All this you are doing hanky-panky and running around and wasting your time in marriage and divorce, in love and hatred, in kissing and hugging, it's nothing but a bacteria exchange, it doesn’t produce much. But every woman has the right to know man truly hers. And it is that longing I wrote this song. And SatSat
Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself.
Peter Singh put it to music. Here we are. It's quite a song in its own terminology. But sometime when we play it, you don’t understand all the words. But if you read the lyrics, they are very methodically well written. It's a mirage where we feel that first impression is ‘O! My God woman is put down.’ But that’s not true. It is a simple dictate if a woman doesn’t find the man truly hers, she has not found herself. Because major part of woman is man itself. And it is the same philosophy of purushaPurusha
The transcendental self, soul, atma, or spirit. It is the first contained embodiment of the unlimited consciousness and is formed with the subtle body. It is the consciousness and witness of the spirit that indwells the body.
and prakritiPrakriti
Transcendental Nature. It is creation as we can experience it. It includes mind and matter. It is formed from the motion and interaction of the gunas. It is multi-leveled and evolved from the original consciousness of the Absolute.
and whole thing, I don’t want to get into all that philosophy.
But we have among us a very noble woman whom I love very much, she is my daughter in divine, and daughter in real. And that is Maa Jyothishanand Saraswati and she has come all the way to meet her papa, father out of love from New York. And we are going to sing this song, and now you are not going to rewind it? That noble woman? Siri Ved is little needs oiling once a while. Noble woman.
(Students’ laughter...)
YB: Ready? Now he has lost the tape.
(Students’ laughter...)
(The tape ‘Noble is the virtue…’ is played in the class...)
YB: (Over tape) and we will all sing that with it.
(Students sing along with the tape.)
YB: Okay, okay, stop it.
(Tape stops.)
YB: You know one summer we were doing something remember? Where are those girls, come on, who are experts. Leaders. Leaders. Where is she? Wahe Wahe Guru

A mantra of ecstasy and dwelling in God. It is the Infinite teacher of the soul. Also called the gur mantra.

Singh’s wife, doctor.
Student: (----).
YB: Oh, she is gone. You are the one? That’s very good, that’s what I want, no practice and still do the best. You. You know. Who else?
Student: (----).
YB: Where is she? Rahe Kaur has been taking care of my dogs. O! My God, come on, come on baby, come on quick. Hurry up. Anybody else? Name the associates. This is the best time to put people on spot. Kiran, who else? What is this, what is this? Amigam, what? Come on. Okay which one. Himalaya? Perfect. Stand before the maa, right there, three of you, stand, now maa you sit down. No, no, that way, that way. We have to get that camera also, hey you. Side, side on the side, on the side. Next, next, further, further. Good that’s nice. Now everybody look this way. Ready? Hey put that tape on. Himalaya, that will do.
(The tape ‘Himalaya…’ is played in the class...)
YB: (Over tape) everybody.
(Students sing along with the tape.)
(Tape stops.)
YB: Well, this is the one song of celestial communication in the very coming future, from 1986 to 2000 whatever you call, you will be all victimized of what is called situation called stress. Hardly there will be any medicine and any situation to recuperate it. According to our Vedic times and Aryans times we have brought down the knowledge and this is called celestial body communication. It not only relaxes the body, it also brings all the parasympathetic, sympathetic and communication nervous system into the center of all the energy and all the glandular system which is the guardian of health into balance. And plus we sing and plus we do kind of an exercise. I think you do not understand right now the feeling of it, but basically you have to be master of it, because tomorrow world is to need it the most. This is the most needed commodity which you have got. And just don’t think that in summer solstice or in the ladies camp we teach and everything is perfect and then you have right to forget. You can’t forget something which is beneficial, which you are supposed to share. And this is also business. It has no overhead, its result is perfect, it can create benefits and it can be sold at any price. All you have to do is put somebody right through it, and you will be shocked the changes. It is the super medicine we have been waiting for. And everybody has to understand it and value it that way. Because certain things belong to us, therefore we do not give them the values. ‘Oh! I know, I know about. Should I practice it? I forgot about it.’
And now promises. You know, you make promise, remember? Let us see. Arey, we want the maa to see certain art and she is very good in music, you know. Come on. Hey, promises. Have you rewound yourself. Good.
(The tape ‘Promises are hard…’ is played in the class...)
(Students sing along with the tape.)
(Students singing the song, ‘Promises are hard to…’)
(Students stop singing)
Do you know the lyrics of the song who wrote?
Students: Yes sir.
YB: Lyrics by SatSat
Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself.
SimranSimran

Peter and choreography, what they call this thing?
Students: Choreography.
YB: Choreography. By who?
Students: (----)
YB: Yeah. So we have lot many songs we have put into all this and you should be totally practicing it and getting rid of the?
Students: Stress.
YB: All right. Now I am on my way to Piper Bay, what they call it?
Students: (----)
YB: Sandpiper Bay and already people are playing golf there and doing the whole thing and waiting and I feel that I will take GuruGuru
That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word.
Ma with me and show them the other side of the state of Florida and have a fun. Hey, you have to take two best portraits, what are you doing now standing there, hurry up. Hers, not me, you always shoot me left and right. What we will take outside?
Students: (----)
YB: One here, what you are going to do?
Student: (----)
YB: You have got in touch with Siri Ved Singh before?
(Students’ laughter)
YB: Hurry up, bring the film.
Student: (----)
YB: No right here, I wanted you to, you want to hear, take the whole…
Student: (----)
YB: Yeah, but bring the film.
Student: (----)
YB: All right, now let us sing the song of the Khalsa, meanwhile we are concluding, right. Go ahead.
(Students singing the song, ‘Many speak of courage…’)
Student: (----)
YB: Where are they?
Student: (----)
YB: They are not going with us? Sandpiper Bay, why not?
Student: (----)
YB: Na, na.
Student: (----)
YB: Then what about him?
Student: (----)
YB: Okay (?), go, see them. Bring them over I want their photos. Loud.
(Students stop singing)
Come on, are you going to sing or not? Hey, the best one. Any condition. Okay next time, you have to sing the whole thing.
(Students clap)
He was perfectly singing, right? That was very good.
Student: (----)
YB: It’s all right. Normally our children are not shy, our parents are shy. Let’s complete the last sentence. Princes is not royal.
(Students singing, ‘Princes is not royal…’)
YB: Hey, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. You pick up right there where you left with a absolute note in harmony. One, two, three, go.
Good. No, bad, bad, no good, no good, no good, again. No, no, let me say it first. All right, ready, go.
(Students continue singing)
(Students stop singing)
Separate singer sitting, portfolio. What should I do now?
Students: (----)
YB: Bless you?
Students: (----)
YB: Story, what do you mean story? Stories we have been telling.
Students: (----)
YB: Thank you very much and those who were in the kitchen, didn’t put more salt than it was needed, didn’t burn the pots and did a wonderful job. We are?
Students: Grateful.
(Students clap)
Students: SatSat
Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself.
Siri Akal.
YB: And to the Almighty God, that He just brought Tantric rain and then He backed off. That was nice, that was expected and that was reasonable and now I hope you will go back on your few days holidays and you will hang around and I know there are lot of, what do you call programs made and I listen to certain phone calls but just remember, these are holidays and there are lot of drunk drivers around the road, around the corner and we do not want to repeat what happened to us, remember that time last year? Hah? Yeah. So please drive carefully, gracefully and just understand, you may be in a perfect state of driving and the other person may not be. Okay?
Students: Yes sir.
