I know that in few days we'll have a baisakhi and it is very important day in our life and each time when it comes it doesn't lose its importance, rather it gains it.

There are three types of hunger-physical, mental and spiritual. And I know in this country of ours which we call is United States, we have done everything to satisfy the physical hunger. We believe in wall-to-wall carpets, big homes, cars, physical comforts. That's not a bad idea. It is good if you can afford it.

Mental hunger you have a psychiatrist, you have a psychologist, you have priests, you have church counseling center, you have a group therapy and when your mental hunger gets very painful you swap wives with car keys and you do orgies and you do all that. That's also pressure of the mental hunger. Any sexual and sensual act done to satisfy self is out of mental hunger, it has nothing to do with physical. It is very unfortunate that in this country people do not understand mental hunger at all, I mean to say, they are so sick, these are educated people I am talking about, I am not talking about a meat and potato, carpenter fifty dollars a day business. I am just telling you very educated, very sophisticated, very high class and they don't understand what is a mental hunger. They don't understand a thing. So I can say that in two hundred years this country has not developed enough and the depth to have any difference between the spiritual hunger at all. They do not know what a spiritual hunger is.

Spiritual hunger is a very subtle unique state of mind which wants to feel not the touch of Infinity but it wants to feel the touch of Infinity in reality in very practical way. It is a very unique urge. But the pull of it is constant, continuous but not feelable, you can't feel it is there. So mind has to be developed to a sensitivity to even understand that you have a soul and your soul is hungry. It is not possible in day-to-day life, that I agree. Feeling of the sprit, the feeling of the soul is not possible. I understand practically when I feel I am very tired and then something comes up which has to do like a sevaSeva Selfless Service. the heart of the Aashram experience is serving each other. , immediately, immediately on the spot this tired man who doesn't want even to get up, not only gets up jumps up. And say, 'oh what happened?' I ask myself a question what happened?

Sometime when I get so tired that I am totally sleepy and even you know, they switch off the lights and then a telephone calls comes and my hand goes automatically and say, "Hi."

And they say, "How are you?"

I say, "Great."

They can't understand this man is a man or what? But no, it is a matter of that sensitivity, it is a matter of that habit. It is not a miracle. Because soul is very infinite, it is all prevailing. It is in touch and many of people who live here among you, their soul doesn't touch another soul. Soul needs the company, soul needs the... Soul is a very social thing.

When you see the bud, when you see the cherry blossom coming you see the colorful flowers coming, you see the tree blooming, you see that, that you see and you have the sensitivity to see and feel and you expect whole year that cherry blossom will come and you understand that. But in that cherry blossom there is a one thing which is very subtle, that is opening of the bud. You see the color but there is a color beyond the color because re-creativity in any form and shape in the universe is not felt by your mind and your body, it is felt by your soul. Your soul is re-creative, continuous, great, infinite process, though it is tucked down in you.

That's why the mantraMantra Sounds or words that tune or control the mind. Man means mind. Tra-ng is the wave or movement of the mind. Mantra is a wave, a repetition of sound and rhythm that directs or controls the mind. When you recite a mantra you have impact through the meridian points in the mouth, through its meaning, through its pattern of energy, through its rhythm, and through its naad - energetic shape in time. Recited correctly a mantra will activate areas of the nervous system and brain and allow you to shift your state and the perceptual vision or energetic ability associated with it. , the word for God is Har. That's is because all creativity of all that is which identify our association with God is that infinite creativity every year the cherry blossom will come, every year the roses will come out, every year the leaves will come out and every year the color will change, the fall will be there, every year there will be whiteness of the winter, every year there will be a beauty and wonder and the heat and the warmth and the self of the summer. Do you understand them as seasons? As a season it is physical, as a weather it is mental. But as it is it's a soul. It's the base of the creativity. It has to be a Fall so leaf can change color and fall, that's why we call it Fall. It has to be a beginning of the spring that everything has to sprout, spring up. It is in you, it is not out on trees. But unfortunately our process of mind to feel that sensitivity is not there.

That's why we can't love, we dry out, we burn out in love. That's why we need a change. That's why we run man-to-man, woman-to-woman and place-to-place just wandering aimlessly, uselessly, faithlessly; why? Because the sensitivity is not awakened. We cannot get all in us, we have to get out to get something and out where? There is no place. There is no out because that is against the will of God. God send us here to feel, to live, to be and it requires a faith to be. We are very faithless, that's why every woman is faithless, every man is faithless. In spite of education, Ph.Ds and all that everybody is faithless. There is no commitment, there is no commitment, there is no character, there is no character, there is no achievement, there is no achievement, there is no grace, there is no grace, there is no joy. Born in the image of the God lives unhappy, feeling of guilt, sin. How can I sin? I the one who is born in the image of God with the hand of God, the God within me the truth,

"Eh jag sach eh kothree sachay kaa vich vaas"

'Truth is this universe and truth lives in it.'

How can that sin? Who is there to judge me? I am judged by my own faithlessness. It's a state of mind-faithlessness, uncreative, unproductive, totally destructive. It does not do anything. What is a faithlessness? It is a very simple state of mind you will never be happy. You can have all the money, all the women, all the wine, all the creative sensual, sexual things, but guarantedly you will be unhappy.

Without grace there is no grace. And without grace there is no love. Without grace there is no trust. Without grace there is no life, empty and it is that emptiness. It is that hunger, it is the pain of the soul, it is the hunger of the soul, it is synchronization and it is that withering out of the soul out of hunger. It creates anger, it creates irrational actions, it creates everything in behavior which is non harmonious comes out of the hunger of the soul.

Body can live hungry one day, two day, twenty days, thirty days, it dies. But soul lives hungry each day and each day, each day, each year, each year, fifty, sixty years and then the person dies, his soul leaves, he doesn't have any rational relationship, there is no contact, there is no communication. Hungry, lonely, un-socially banished soul, lives in the body. Is it not strange? Is it not amazing? Soul which gives you the life, the best friend, the best servant, the only contact of self is totally uncommunicated and you, you creeps, you human beings worst than animals, you think you can have friends, you have no friends, you can't have friends. You do not have soul as your friend. The source of your life is not friendly, not communicated, not understood, not realized, how can you have friends? Who can be your friend? You think you can eat, drink and be merry, tomorrow you will be all okay. Who are you? Weight, dead weight, dead weight. You don't have to drink, you are drunk. You are not to be neurotic, you are basically neurotic. You have no creativity of creating a relationship social and personal with the very soul which is within you and it is a fact.

How many friends you have got? Once somebody asked me, "How many friends you have got?"

I said, "I don't have friends, I don't need him(them)."

"How? What do you mean you don't have friends?"

I said, "What for I need friends?"

I have a beautiful friend, my soul is my friend. You remember that poem I wrote? 'Thank God my soul has no belly.' Did you understand that poem? No, you don't, what do you care? What do you care what I say? You don't care. If you could have understood those lines of mine you would have done something. Soul doesn't have a belly, it doesn't need potatoes and chips and parmesan cheese and ice creams, it doesn't need those things. Soul needs you and yourself. Soul can be fed by the grace, affection. Soul cannot be fed by talking and putting food. Soul has a food, your soul can be fed by your grace. To have grace you have to have faith, you have to have faith, you have to have commitment, you have to have commitment, to have the character, it is a whole procedure.

Side-B

You know, when a woman does something you say, "Ah she is faithless."

Then you know what is faithless. But why don't you know all the time you are faithless? What's by living one man and going to another is a physical action and that can be very faithless and what about you are faithless, faceless and everything less. You have added nothing to you. You are so bogus you make a GurdwaraGurdwara Literally the door of the Guru; traditional place where Sikh worship services are held. , you make a church, you make a temple, you are the worst hypocrites on the earth. And little temple, so much water, sixty percent you are water, aren't you? Isn't true? So in proportion there is a sixty percent water, forty percent solid and absolutely subtle.

It is a simple statement which you can realize that inside the brightness, the calmness, the quietness and the richness. There is nobody stands on the doorway.

And once a while I come and I ask you how many of you did chouree on your soul this morning? That is SadhanaSadhana , Saadhana A spiritual discipline; the early morning practice of yoga, meditation, and other spiritual exercises. The Aquarian Sadhana can be an individual or group practice; Ideally, it includes the recitation of Japji Sahib, a Kundalini Yoga kriya, and chanting the Aquarian Sadhana meditations, immediately followed by Gurdwara. How many of you are denying your own inner being? And how many times you will do it? I would like you to think, I like you to listen what I have said and think. I want you to judge your own self, don't go by me. I have my own experience, I have my own enrichness, I have my own prakash, I have my own chouree.
