(Student singing)
(Song stops)
We are going to have a good marriage in our family very soon and all those who have to be ready with the presents are welcome. But I'll never announce the boy and the girl. I won't announce the names, right.
Students: (-----)
YB: What do you mean please.
(Students' laughter)
What do you mean please, it is my privilege to marry my daughters and my son, what are you talking about? It's none of your way. Right?
(Students' laughter)
You know, in this country marriage is a joke. You know. Boy meets the girl and they freak out each other and they get married and then they fight together and then they divorce. Or the boy earns about thirty, forty years, become rich, then she knows she can get fifty percent, so she applies for the divorce. It's a joke. It's the most sickening society we have got. We got to get rid of this. This is not the way. It is not human nature. Man is a intelligent being. It's a, if it's a animal, if you want to say it is a animal, it is a intelligent animal. What happens is intelligent. Can, can we not take care of our areas through negotiations, through understanding, through sacrifice? We are made in the image of God. But anyway, that is not a subject we are going to talk on, so...
(Students' laughter)
We are going to talk into human caliber and the relationship of death. Death means when the capacity of the human mind in relationship to its physical, mental and spiritual self does not exist in the identity of the state of circumstances in which it relates to Time and Space. Got it?
(Students' laughter)
What should I say? I mean to say, the problem is, you all have to die and nobody has explained to you what death is. So what you expect death is. What is a death? Death is when physically, mentally and spiritually you cannot relate to your identity in relationship to Time and Space. That is what death is. There is a physical death, there is a moral death, there is a social death, there is spiritual death, there is a consciousnessConsciousness
The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality.
which dies and there is ethic which dies in a human being. Count how many are there.
Student: (-----)
YB: Hmm? Seven. Got it? Yeah.
First is, physical, moral, ethical, spiritual, consciousnessConsciousness
The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality.
.
Yeah. And one more.
Student: (-----)
YB: That I said.
Death is not... The easiest death of all that death is the physical death. You know, when you physically die, then what? Oh, whatever he was, he was good. But when you morally die, then what? You know what is the worst death? Spiritual death. When you give a word and you don't honor it. That's called spiritual death. That man will never forget you whom you promised and don't come through. And his mind will always trigger into the subconscious effort of channel into the supreme conscious mind and shall continually curse you. It's ridiculous. Therefore, never promise anybody anything. But once you say it, then live it.
What is ethical death? Ethical death is whatever is expected out of you, you don't live up to it. What is moral death? You do not live to your correct imagination. What is your social death? You can't cross the ocean of temptation and you give in. And so, so, so, blah, blah, blah. Got it? And there is a one death also. That is the most beautiful all death, when one dies into the Infinity of existence.

There are living examples. I gave you the example of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, a Sikh chieftain, who almost conquered from Jamuna to all the way, very dependable, beautiful soldier and when he was betrayed by a very well-conceived treachery and finally he was arrested with seven hundred men. And he was brought to Delhi by the Mogul emperor, the orders were, 'Give him a Unknown death,' that was told. So first his son chest was chopped out and heart was taken out and he was asked to hold the heart of the boy in his own mouth. Didn't bother with it. Then he satSat

and to be holy man or to be a hero, your mind is trained but that's not something very great but here are two innocent children, seven year and nine year and they were ordered to brick alive. So you know, small brick they come slowly, slowly, with all the cement and they cover it and till it comes when the breath cannot be taken anymore and the younger one looked at the elder one, they couldn't move. The brick was over the chin. Elder could move, the younger couldn't. He looked and he saw a tear in the eye of the elder one and he spoke to him. He said, "Are you crying?"
He said, "No, I am not crying. This tear has come out of sheer sadness."
He said, "But what is the difference between sadness and crying?"
He said, "Look, you came later than me two years, you are going ahead of me. Is it not a injustice?"
He said, "Don't worry, couple of hours don't bug you. I'll wait for you."
Seven year old. They were also son of a woman or a man, don't misunderstand yourself. When you cannot give your children values, value of the basic value, you fail as parents. You call yourself parents because you sleep with somebody on the bed and because you have been married and you produce a baboon out and that baboon goes (?),
(Students' laughter)
And you think you are a parent and that's it, that you call yourself parent, you are certified parent? I think nobody should be allowed to marry until he pass a examination, graduation as husband and graduation as a wife and they should not be allowed to have children until they graduate to be parents. Better to have a monkey at least, that guy will not have, no problem, the kids. How many parents have ever...
Now there is another phenomena, well, women should work. I agree women should work, but work on the what you produce. Who the hell is going to come, the baby-sitter is going to work on your kids or television is going to work on them? Then folks, it takes three hundred dollars, go and tie your tubes and forget about it. Then you have never to work. But you will never have the joy to have a child also. You know, it is sickening. You bring a human being, innocent soul, in the world and you do not want to take the responsibility, do not want to give the basic values, value of the basic values. That is what you got to give to your children. Value of the basic values. That's the highest gift. Who has the time? Nobody.
What is the difference between a ordinary kid and a kid and a educated kid? No difference at all. You think one passes, qualify himself MD or attorney or somebody is a engineer or somebody professionally qualified. What use that professional qualification is, if he is not qualified as a human being at all? Is he a man, is he qualified man? Does he know the basic values of the values of a man? Did the mother, the first teacher, Gurdev Mata, Gurdev Pita, Gurdev Bandhu Parameshwaram, it's the mother gave those value.
You know, I was talking to one lady and she said, "Yogiji, I can't tell this child anything."
I said, "This child is ruined. Because as a mother if you will not slap across his face, the Mother Nature tomorrow is going to slap across the face. And can you believe what a strong that that slap shall be?"
She said, "I understand it."
I said, "If anything has been damaged to us in the western world, it's the birth of Freud. It was his theory that children should not be told and touched for anything. So what we did? We didn't discipline our children, we disciplined our dogs."
(Students' laughter)
Our dogs are more disciplined than our children. Wawa sit, Wawa stand up, Wawa go left, Wawa go right.
(Students' laughter)
Wawa does it, but if it's a Peter or Hari Singh or SatSat

Singh, "Sit," he says, "(?), I am not going to sit, I'll stand, I walk."
They are human children. They understand this language. But nobody has taught them to understand and obey. Law of obedience. Those who cannot obey cannot command. And there is nothing in life but excellence. And if you cannot excellent on time, you are not a human being. I don't care what you carry on your face. You are a human bag. Fill it with any garbage, doesn't make any difference.
Human life has only one thing to achieve – to be excellent. You must excel and your excellency must prevail because you are in the image of God. And there is no substitute for victory.
Look at you, first eighteen years you do not know what you want to do. Other eighteen years you are seeking to do something. Thirty-six and thirty-six to fifty-four, you try to think you are doing something and fifty-four to another eighteen years you think you have already done without doing anything and sometime you know, heart failure, this failure, that failure and there you go in a box.
'Eh Mann, Har siyo Kar Liyo Preet.'
'Oh my mind, let me take a chance to love God.'
And what is God? God is the Master of the entire creation. You cannot feel God without feeling the entire creation and do you have that capacity to socialize with everything? You want to know the God you got to know the every facet of God, right from the Earth, stone, cat, dog, koel, bird, sparrow, lion, everything. Everything is creation of God, you must get out to love everything. You can't love yourself. Action has a reaction equal and opposite. It's a Newton third law, it's a western saying too. You live off others, others will live off you. What a beautiful situation. You want everybody to serve you and you don't want to serve anybody, is it possible? Will it fit into the sequence and consequence of Time and Space?
One mother one day called me, "What should I do, my son is totally rotten?"
I said, "You should not do anything, you should kill yourself."
(Students' laughter)
"Why?"
I said, "Look, that is the best thing. Don't do anything."
"Have I failed?"
I said, "You have not failed. Your mother failed. You didn't fail, your mother failed and your grandmother failed and your great grandmother failed."
And she turned around and said, "You failed also."
I said, "How come you say that?"
She said, "You never came in this country earlier."
(Students' laughter)
I said, "Yes, I failed too, I agree with you."
I said, "I, that, I agree, I never came before 1968, that's my problem, I am sorry." I said, "I was not born before 1929, I am also very sorry for that."
(Students' laughter)
So she said, "What to do now?"
I said, "Now you are talking. Now, let us, let us talk now, what we are talking."
She said, "What I should do?"
I said, "Sit down with that child, admit all the wrong, tell him you lied to him, tell him you told him wrong things, tell him you are sorry for all that. Ask forgiveness."
She said, "I know that is the only thing which will set up the situation but it's very hard Yogiji."
I said, "Dear, thank God, you got to do it."
Now, that, that son of her says to her, "Mom, you tell me not to drink but what do you put in the Coca Cola?"
Now, poor thing what she can say? She even tried to lie to him, she got this, whatever she drinks, she put it as a medicine. So the children, these days, you think children are so foolish that they can't see what is medicine, what is not medicine? He opened up the cork, he smelled it, he said, "Wait a minute, which doctor prescribed this medicine?"
(Students' laughter)
I said, "No, don't lie to him, tell him you are alcoholic, you are trying to reduce it, you are trying to do yoga, you are doing it, you never knew it, it all happened in your innocence, you are sorry for it, and also tell him one thing, my son, I am unfortunate, I am ungrateful to myself, I have damaged myself, now I am under the treatment, I can get out of that, don't worry about it, but you don't get into it."
Why you want to prove you are perfect and that guy is just a rotten stuff? You think a sixteen year old year boy doesn't know a thing? Through the television they know more than anything. They see more shows than you all have seen throughout your life.
Death is a challenge to life. But death is only one avenue, if you can conquer it, you are always excellent. Fear of death. Subconscious fear of death is just nothing but a fear of failure. And you know who fails? What is a failure? Come on. Now you have studied eight years, what are you talking about? What is a failure?
Student: (----)
YB: Cowards is not a failure, cowards is only pancreas fail. What is a failure? Class is going to stop here. I want the answer of this question, 'what is a failure?' I want to know what you have been taught in schools.
Student: (-----)
YB: No, no, no, no, no. What actually is qualify? What qualifies the word failure?
Student: (-----)
YB: Oh, you never learned the standard, you don't need it, it doesn't matter.
Student: (-----)
YB: But suppose honey, nobody told you what is (?), what you are going to eat?
Student: (-----)
YB: Yeah.
Student: (-----)
YB: That looks like a failure. It's a very simple thing, failure. What is a failure? When you do not put your capacity into the effort of possibility of doing something right. Define words properly, I told you. You should know the basic definition, don't go by left, by right. Failure is when you do not know put your full capacity into the possibility. You will never be sad, there will be no such thing as failure, if you only know you did your best under the given circumstances.
The lot of things, psychological trauma, then the problems these days, the... Not only they are failed but they are just afraid to fail. They mess up the whole life.
Somebody once told me, "Oh, so and so has died."
I said, "With what?"
He said, "I, I didn't check it up, what?
I said, "Look, boy, there are lot of deaths and you have lot of reason to die. Check it out."
We only know death one thing when physically our heart fails and we do not breathe, right? That's all we know is death. What about other death we die everyday? Don't we live through them? If we can live through those serious deaths, what these physical death means, nothing. Why death should be at all a fear to us? If you look at the reality of the circumstances which you are growing, we never knew ever that we in this lifetime shall ever be on the moon, right? We are there. Then we thought that is the limit, then we got to Mars. Right? Now we are going across. And we will not stop anywhere. Because we are not to meant to stop anywhere. We never die. We are born of a seed we grow our seeds, we nurse our seed, we sprout our seed, seed to seed we live. Who dies?
There is no such thing as death. Certain seeds are only to experience couple days, certain seed are experience couple months, certain seed only experience couple years, certain seeds experience couple centuries. Redwood tree stays there for five, six hundred years. Mung bean sprouts, it doesn't stay more than a week. What, what difference it is? You think mung bean sprout doesn't live? Only redwood tree lives? Think something.

"Oh, that person got a cancer, he was dying."
Nobody gets cancer, cancer is a process to let your body die. You don't die because of cancer. People got cancer but still they live.
There was a friend of ours, I went to Denver, he came to meet me. The guy had a cancer, doctor told him, "You are going to live two weeks."
So he came to wish me, you know, 'goodbye friend, we have been together, yeah, yeah, yeah, perhaps next year you come, I know.'
I said, "Forget it, I don't think you can die."
He said, "But you know, I have got a very serious cancer."
I said, "They may hang you with it."
(Students' laughter)
I said, "Listen," I said, "I do not know what the doctor (?), I respect the doctor, doctor is right, he told you, you have got a cancer, you'll die, fine with it. But I think doctor should also shoot you with a revolver, because according to this auraAura

you have got, God has no right to kill you, cancer is just a ordinary thing, I mean, what are you talking, it's your problem, which."
Now this year I went, I said, "Hi, how are you?"
You know, he came to meet me specially. So I, I just stopped the class, I asked him, "Come, sit down." I said, "Hey what happened, am I seeing your ghost or you?"
(Students' laughter)
He said, "No, I am alive."
I said, "What happened to your cancer?"
He said, "I don't know. One day it all went away."
(Students' laughter)
What you can do? And it's not that he didn't have cancer. It's true he had cancer. You mean, cancer is something which cannot retreat itself? Or fever is something which cannot come down? You may drive with hundred percent caution the car, hundred percent caution. But what about if somebody is coming opposite is driving with hundred percent without any caution? It's going to hit you anyway.

told all people, he said, "Look folks, die you must, why to die like a coward, lying down like a nut. They kill you like flies. Get up and fight. Do even fist fight, exist. Let the damn enemy know that you exist. And moment you..."
"What will happen?"
He said, "If you start creating the existence, then one who is responsible for the existence will come on your help."
Handful of people, they started resisting. And what was that resistance? In forty-two years, Mogul empire fell on its feet. It was put to dust. In the same empire where they used to pay eighty gold coins for the head of a Sikh.
I was talking to that rabbi that day, he said, "Hitler put all the Jews into concentration camps and he will send them to concentration camp and the gas chambers and then tell the other to pull the bodies out and they all used to piled up because they used to go out through the pipe."
I said, "What a wrong thing? They should all broken up the concentration camp, pulled all the guns from his, those soldiers, and started doing it and you know, matchstick is available everywhere, you can burn the whole city with it. You know he is going to kill and five million hands multiplied by two means ten million hands."
Twenty million hands and feet, that one guy could kill, it's a joke. But when you have no spirit, you can't stand up.
I said that day in a class that if five million people sit together and when urinate, it will be equal to Colorado river. You mean five million people are just nothing?
No, when the spirit are down, then even ten million, twenty million people are nothing but when the spirit is up one person, it takes one person to change the tide of the time. It is always one person who has done it. That's why, GuruGuru

Students: (----)
YB: That is when we walk?
Students: Tall.
YB: That's, that is the total... It is the, isn't the life that matters, it is the courage you?
Students: Bring to it.
YB: Life shall never matter. Satyavan-Savitri is one thing which you must read. Shri Aurobindo translated it. Ladies, you have to work extra, work extra. Have a copy of your own. I'll recommend the Satyavan-Savitri, Savitri in two volumes, written by Shri Aurobindo. Shri Aurobindo never did a good job. One good job for which this entire western world should be grateful to that man is the translation of the Satyavan-Savitri.
Savitri, the princess wanted to marry Satyavan, told the parents, parents didn't agree. She said, "That's it, my mind has gone to him and I feel very divine in him and he is just simply poor and I am a, we can take care of it and I don't think..."
The astrologer and every philosopher and they came and they said, "What are you talking about? That Satyavan has only one year to live, he shall die."
She said, "Look, I have never given my heart to any man, I am a pure divine woman. He shall be my husband. And I am the infinite power as a woman, I'll fight death."
Father laughed, he said, "Hey, hey kid, you are blind with the love of that man, how can you see?"
She said, "Look father, don't make joke of me. You marry me. And I'll prove it to you."
Got married. After a year she practiced her SadhanaSadhana
, Saadhana
A spiritual discipline; the early morning practice of yoga, meditation, and other spiritual exercises. The Aquarian Sadhana can be an individual or group practice; Ideally, it includes the recitation of Japji Sahib, a Kundalini Yoga kriya, and chanting the Aquarian Sadhana meditations, immediately followed by Gurdwara. According to Yogi Bhajan, the potency of any Kundalini Yoga and meditation practice will be enhanced in a group setting.

. After a year time came, he was bit by snake, he died. And she held his body and she passed out of the body. Followed the God of death all the way. When it happened to the layer of the third level, because I am going to discuss all this death theory, the mystery and mastery of death, so I am just giving you today the preface. He, Yamraj, the king of death, he turned around, he said, "My dear child, I know you have a power of the mind to come, what do you want?"
She said, "I want my husband back."
He said, "He has to die."
She said, "No."
"Why not?"
She said, "Look, oh king of death, you can take him only, not with me. I am coming along, I know you can't go."
Yamraj realized this word YamYam
Yam/Niyams "do's and don'ts; the ethical precepts defined by Patanjali.
is very old one, from where the word come, Yamka, this Jewish cap which you wear now or we wear this turban it's called Yamka, which does, which is a protection from death. I'll explain you the entire theory of the hair and the Yamka and all that jazz which you call Yamka now.
So she said, "You can't go."
And finally when the third layer of blue ether to which a yogiYogi

can go, came, Yamraj stopped. Now he wanted to get rid of her. He said, "Please go back."
She said, "No."
He said, "All right, you let me go, you ask me one blessing, I'll give you."
She said, "You promise?"
He said, "Yes."
She said, "I should be blessed with grandchildren."
He was in a hurry, he never thought what she is saying. He said, "Tathastu. So it be."
She said, "Now wait a minute, now you are taking away my husband, who the hell is going to have children and then grandchildren question does not arise, you understand?"
(Students' laughter)
He said, "Okay, all right, go back."
And Satyavan got up. She brought him home and king looked at it. He said, "One year has passed."
She said, "Father I told you I shall not be widow. I told you that I'll have sons and grandsons."
He said, "Darling, I want to understand we are your parents, we never learnt this art."
She said, "Yeah. You never learnt this art but you taught me what a grace of a woman is."
Princess is not royal by birth and by?
Students: (----)
YB: When she is royal?
Students: (----)
YB: You sing it everyday and I want to explain it to you. What is the difference between a graceful woman and a non, I am not using the correct word because I want to be diplomatic. But you can understand what I want to exactly say and what I am saying. What is the difference between a graceful woman and disgraceful woman? You can buy and sell disgraceful woman. The grace of woman when is priceable, it is a disgraceful. But when it is unpriceable, that is where the grace in Infinity is. And price can be fixed through cash and kind for which you have to understand economics. But when her house is Anandpur SahibAnandpur Sahib

I presume now you should be in a position to understand when I complete the sentence what I am going to say. Now let us do that meditationMeditation

. Sure, why...

It is called Karm Sambhavani, this is how it goes, if you have rings on your hand in this only one meditationMeditation

it won't work. The fingers go in exactly I am going to put you through, my God I am getting old too. It's little painful process but I think you can do it.
This is inside of me every finger of mine is covered, exactly you watch it. This is my ring finger. Followed it? Both ring fingers are inside and everything else is outside, got it, cover it. You will hurt quite a bit it's a problem but it's all right and cover it like this. They both are inside, everything else is locked and put it through the heart center. Had it?
Now these are very technical things. You understand now?
Students: (----)
YB: They go like just like cross on the other side. Got it? Oh yeah, perfect, do you see? Show me Kartar? Yep, good, yeah, you are okay.
Only this one ring finger is inside, everything else is outside.
Student: (-----)
YB: Yeah, pressed against each other that's true. They both are equal to each other, there is nobody over anybody.
Satisfied? It is a very contact of the flow of life energy and it happened right under the rest of the energy, got it? All right, put it before the heart center and cover your elbows, your elbows should touch your skeleton like that and just fit exactly this way. Had it? Now (?) whether you had it or not. Now close your eyes. What is it?
Student: (----)
YB: Now this entire bhaiBhai
Brother.
, what do you mean pads? Whole thing.

Five more seconds. Inhale. Stretch your hands up all the way and stretch your spine. Wide open your fingers, that's the secret in this. And stretch as much you can. Now you can stretch once in your life. Exhale, relax.

Literal meaning is "completed action." A Kundalini Yoga Kriya is a sequence of postures and yoga techniques used to produce a particular impact on the psyche, body, or self. The structure of each kriya has been designed to generate, organize, and deliver a particular state or change of state, thereby completing a cycle of effect. These effects have been codified and elaborated by Yogi Bhajan and form the basic tools used in yoga and its therapeutic applications.

Sounds or words that tune or control the mind. Man means mind. Tra-ng is the wave or movement of the mind. Mantra is a wave, a repetition of sound and rhythm that directs or controls the mind. When you recite a mantra you have impact through the meridian points in the mouth, through its meaning, through its pattern of energy, through its rhythm, and through its naad - energetic shape in time. Recited correctly a mantra will activate areas of the nervous system and brain and allow you to shift your state and the perceptual vision or energetic ability associated with it.

Try to start it, add it to your SadhanaSadhana
, Saadhana

The Aquarian Sadhana can be an individual or group practice; Ideally, it includes the recitation of Japji Sahib, a Kundalini Yoga kriya, and chanting the Aquarian Sadhana meditations, immediately followed by Gurdwara. According to Yogi Bhajan, the potency of any Kundalini Yoga and meditation practice will be enhanced in a group setting.
for three minutes and be very careful when you add it, three minutes. Then after a week or sometime, if you practice it, then four minutes, five minutes, seven minutes, you should not cross until you are very, very physically powerful and you have a mental capacity to go through, for eleven minutes, more than enough. Because if you like to proceed further, then please see I am in the town. And call it in, doesn't matter, the way you want to do some mischief, you have the right to be mischievous, I am not saying that, but at least for God sake, see it that I am in the town, otherwise it takes couple hours, sometime to fly in and don't mess me up for that.
So eleven minutes is the most reasonable good practitioner's time and you should not bother to be more than that, got it? Otherwise, you must understand, I am not subject to any liability. I am just reproducing the scriptures so. Even, no medical insurance claim will be available to you, if you do it at your own anything. Just go perfectly slow about it, very authentic and start like three minutes and four minutes and five minutes, six minutes, like minute to minute. Very powerful life giving thing. It is associated with the flow of breath through the left nostril, follows down the left side of the spine, and represents the qualities of the moon - calmness, receptivity, coolness, and imagination. , so it creates equilibrium of balance of correlative of energy and you do not have what they call is brain tiredness.
Hey psychologist, understand, okay. Most of the people misbehave or freak out to behave when they feel inter exchange of the brain happening in the third realm, that is what is called neutral. Also, you can't die if you do not start breathing through both nostril. You can't die. That is how the yogisYogi

avoid death. Because they have a mastery on the nostrils, they say, 'well, hell with you, all right, you have come to take me, fine, now I have to do certain things.' They change to one nostril and stick to it. What they can happen, nothing. Because nature is bound down by natural law. And if you get a mastery over the natural law, you can penetrate through Time and Space, no miracle, simple thing.
All right, let us sing the song.
(Students sing, 'Many speak of courage...')
You got it? The last word is, mind and soul are all His alone. So you don't own them anyway.
May the long time...
(The class sings, 'May the long time...')
Oh Unknown to every known, Oh beyond bound by the power of love, oh Unseen through all seen, through all creation, it was Thy direction and grace that out of Thy mercy we could ask all (?) teachers to create a congregation to create the environment to relate to Thee.
