YB: Oh beautiful, you worked it all out.

Student: (------)

YB: No, no, no, no. What is it, (?).

Student: (------)

YB: Yeah.

Student: I am suppose to (?).

YB: Somewhere I will force them.

Student: (-------)

SatSat Existence; what is; the subtle essence of Infinity itself. SimranSimran A deep meditative process in which the naam of the Infinite is remembered and dwelled in without conscious effort. Kaur: An eighties woman. I am a woman of the eighties, I am supposed to want it all, to juggle twenty things at once and really have a ball, I am supposed to be assertive and to stay in tiptop shape, I am supposed to have a great career and make the perfect crape, I am supposed to have a makeover to have a model’s looks, see all the latest movies and be up on current books, I am a woman of the eighties, I am supposed to be so free but all I really want to be is absolutely me.

(Students applaud)

YB: Didn’t get a chance even to change. I wish someday there will be a half day that I can sleep but still, you know. This summer is going to be very harsh on me, I know that, I am going to Europe, I dread it. But it’s all right, time comes, time goes.

We were talking yesterday about Economics and then we led you to an understanding as a human being. And I actually to be very honest, I don’t want to blame you, I don’t have to blame you because not only you are innocent in this corruption in which you have been raised but you have been raised just like a, to me you are just a stock, outside there like for meat. You are not raised as children, you are not loved as children, you are not given values as human beings and now at this age of you it’s very difficult, to leave out habits, pick up new one and give up the trauma, it’s very difficult.

It is, it’s very enlightening to me that, that day, I know Siri Kaur and what is her name is, who makes the astrology?

Students: (?) Kaur.

YB: (?) Kaur, she was reading the stars and I was just enjoying it and then she cracked up, she laughed, I said, “What are you laughing?”

She said, “All eight squares at the house of death in the eighth house and you are alive, I can’t believe it.”

I said, “But I am alive.”

And she said, “You are also smiling.”

I said, “What else can I do, what else you can do?”

What is death? Death is much far superior and precious than to be insulted, than to be used, than to be abused, than to be betrays, than to face a treachery. What is a death? Nothing. A wonderful thing one, two, three you sleep, you go la la la, it’s three thousand dollar cost on other people to put you through, what’s the difficulty. There is no difficulty in death but this everyday death, this everyday fighting, this everyday surviving, this everyday disharmony, the pain and all nonsense, is, is, is life. It needs a basic planning. First of all, just understand; you, this, now I am giving you the science of it, if you don’t understand it rest of your life will be messed, doesn’t matter who you are; if you understand it rest of the life will be great, doesn’t matter who you are. So hear carefully and just hear how the God has made, not that what I am telling you and there is no second opinion about it, this is a gospel truth, don’t fry to freak out, if you cannot do it don’t do it, it’s not your problem, my problem but there is no way out of the misery.

Look at night at sky, right, what it looks to you? Sometime blue, right but it’s a pitch dark, it’s not blue, its color is not blue, it is the darkest, pitch dark substance ever in existence but to your eyes look blue. And you know the teeny-tiny stars there, they are huge, they are bigger than this planet, planet earth is just like a peanut before it, it’s the smallest little thing before all these but they are at very distance but they are identity, sky is sky, stars are star and you are you, right. You can only see the part of that star, little teeny-tiny shining star, is that true? But you know how each that star is big? Hundred thousand time more than the earth, forget about you. Therefore each individual, you know or you don’t know is like that star, huge and a big living ego, part of that is you and part of that ego is in you, so there is a relationship.

There is no such, this you are not going to accept it. There is no such thing as a total absolute relationship. It is always part of you and part of them and psyche has a interaction, inter?

Students: Action.

YB: Whenever you will try to have a total relationship you will be destroyed because this is not cosmic. The only relationship you can have with you, only with you. Part of relationship, look at the normal life, you have a mother, you have a sister, you have a aunt, you have a cousin, you have a wife, you are a husband, whatever the relationship in male category, put those category just like panorama, you have so many relationship, then you have friends, you have degrees of friendship, you have a relationship, different kind of relationship, with some you can depend too much, some you can… If you want to look at the whole thing in your life, the most important thing is that you should be intact. That’s why you should be very sacred, very religious, very graceful, very reasonable; don’t play emotions, don’t lay your trips, don’t play traumas, they are all temporary, in the long run that all won’t work; in the long run your real identity will be valued.

You know sometime you give somebody a gift and somebody take a gift, wrap, gift wrap, gift wrap, gift wrap; you can present yourself with two hundred gift wraps. You think you are the biggest wise person because your gift wraps are going to work it out, you are the biggest fool, you are wasting your time, and you are wasting your money in those damn wraps, it’s not worth it.

Come out as you, God has not made anything more important than you, He couldn’t, He tried and that’s all it is about. And if you can come out as you and then you can come out as a sacred you, the game is over, you won. And if you can come out as ugly you, you have lost, that’s all it is about. There are no two opinions about it. You can go to a psychiatrist, you can go to a psychologist, you go to a holy man, you go to a minister; you can change twenty religion, thirty aspect, fifty husband, two hundred boyfriend, three hundred lovers, sixty thousand relationship, it means zero. What you are living like?

One divorce to another one, one boyfriend to another boyfriend, one child to another child, one husband to another husband, one job to another job, it is called kick-kick. Life is a kick-to-kick but you will never find out who you are, you will never found what you are and you will never find what is all about. One emotion to another emotion, it’s just like hopping, like frog going from here to there to there to there, where you want to go? There is no place to go because wherever you go the urge to find you is there, the urge to deal with you is there.

There is never a day and a chance when real you will stop not coming out and say, ‘hello idiot, so and so what about me?’ You don’t have to find telephone somebody, you don’t have to go to somebody, you don’t have to relate to somebody, you within you is every time telling, ‘you sick person, what are you this pretending for, what about me?’ We call it that little silent voice, we call it consciousnessConsciousness The nature of the self and being. In the realm of nature, awareness becomes consciousness. It is from the being itself. Being is expressed in consciousness through contrasts and sensations, in awareness through merger, clarity, and reality. . It does talk to us, it does tell us, ‘what’s going on?’ And you know what you say, you say, ‘shut up you bum (?), I am in good shape, this boy I found it, let me make it with him.’ And this (?) little voice says, ‘you are wasting your energy with this man, this beautiful man, this prince charming, what about me, I am the charm in you,’ there is a conflict.

Sometime, the psychologist after six year will tell you, “Oh you come from point of insecurity.” That’s it. I have seen a person spending six hundred thousand dollars, six hundred thousand dollar in therapy, you know what she found out, she has inferiority complex but where it came he didn’t know. Six hundred thousand dollar to find one little thing that she had inferiority complex, period. And she said, “Where it came from?”

He said, “It is just enough to find it out, rest I don’t know whether we can find it out or not.”

So I had to deal with that problem, she said, “I have inferiority complex and my psychiatrist told me, ta ta ta ta ta.”

I said, “Did you have a very, very fat aunt?” First I asked her, “How’s your mother, is skinny, this frail, very beautiful,” I checked few relationship, I said, “Did you have some aunt in your house?”

She said, “Yeah, oh yeah, she is fat like an elephant.” That’s it.

Yeah, yeah. Your father is nice, your mother is nice, your everything is nice and there comes this elephant living in the house all the time, as a child just grow under it see, (?) everything look to you just nothing, you grow up with it. Fat aunts, aunts are even now, there is no way out.

It is our responsibility to give values to our children at the basic age of life and tell them, fat and skinny doesn’t make any difference, these are just polarities. Educate your children with one thing, educate yourself with one thing, educate your husband, your relatives with one thing, ‘everything is a polarity except compassion.’

Inferiority complex, superiority complex same thing. You know, if you have inferiority complex you may work your whole thing out to have a superiority complex, what you will do, you run out everybody out of your life. If you have a inferiority complex you are going to lay trauma, do the drama, tears, depression, (?) one day somebody is going to forget it man, get out of it. Either you push too much or you depress too much, both are wrong way of life, both won’t work. You want to win the heart, then compassion will, doesn’t matter who you are and how you look, whether you are educated or you are not because compassion is the flow of goodness always, ever for all circumstances and time, therefore it gives the other person absolute security with you and that is the beauty of life.

If you think as a woman, you have any other quality, that’s all available in market. If you have a blue eyes, I can tell you darker blue eyes are available, just few more dollars. If you have blonde hair, I can tell you they are available and by, what they call it, catalogue. Everything in this world, sell and is bought, there’s a market for everything. The fight is between the haves and have not but one thing neither can be sold nor can be bought and that is compassion. Compassion has three qualities in it-kindness, character and love; kindness, character and love; they three mix to make something in you called compassion and it’s forever. Compassionate person is compassionate forever. This is the faculty you have to build in your very life.

You cannot fool around with this stuff because just remember, today or tomorrow you have to be you. If you are waiting that the last day when I have to breathe my last I am going to find myself, then why not find today? Why to wait? Your insecurity is, nobody will love you, thank you very much, what is the idea in the name of love you get exploited. You think you won’t have friends? It’s okay but once you find you within you, whatever then thereafter will come to you is fine and fair.

All right, how many of you will like to be put down, raise your hands? None, good! How many of you honestly and truthfully put down others, raise your hands, Everybody should raise your hand, I know you, who you are lying to? Are you not ashamed of it? Something you don’t want for yourself and you do to others. And what you do to others which you don’t want to yourself will come to you ten fold. Buck stops…

Students: (----)

YB: And what it says, ‘in God we?’

Students: Trust.

YB: And everybody pays?

Students: (----)

YB: Simple formula of life.

Try to understand what is a relationship, dictionary, she brought it today. Relationship, now listen to this, sometime you just speak a word you don’t know the exact meaning of it. Yeah.

Student: The way in which one thing is related to another, a similarity.

YB: Wait, wait, wait right here, ‘a way in which one thing is related to?

Students: Another.

YB: What you think relationship is? You think relationship is my right over other, that is where you do the mistake. Relationship is never a right, it is a comparative flow of the psyche at all time, at a different frequency or at the same frequency to be neutralized, that’s all it is, it’s a science, it’s a physics. Relationship does not give you any right at all. A relationship is between the two psyche, between the two psyche, projection at the same frequency or at… Sometime mother and daughter are the same, sometime mother and daughter are enemies, what happens, projection become opposite. Husband and wife at the same frequency just in love ba ba ba bu bu bu all bacterias exchanged, afterwards my God you see them fighting, you can’t even believe it. There is absolutely no right in any relationship, it is a comparative inflow of energy.

The mistake with you is, you think relationship is right, ‘my hook is in and it is bolted,’ that’s what you think relationship is. “Oh he loves me.” If you really think he loves you, then why the hell you force him to tell you twenty times during the day, ‘I love you,’ ha? Have you ever accepted? Because it’s a comparative inflow and when it reverses, same love, what is hatred? Hatred is just uncooked love.

I tell you, you have a sex relationship with woman she will never say, ‘he raped me,’ you don’t do it definitely she say, she rape you, because that is uncooked, cooked sexual relationship. Majority of the time, when you will find those complaints and all that, that is where their ego get hurt, it’s all comparative. It works this way or it works this way.

I am very surprised, that day I was counseling some people and she said, “I love him, he is my husband, he is the nicest man but I feel he is my brother.” It had a little, you know, orientation with me as a brother.

I use to hear this all the time but never investigated it, that time I said, “Well, how many brothers you got?”

She said, “Six.”

I said, “With how many you have the sex relationship?”

She said, “Four.”

I said, “What about your father?”

She said, “No, I don’t have, my father is not here.”

I said, “What happened to him?”

“He died.”

I said, “Who (?) relationship?”

“My stepfather.”

“Did you tell your mother?”

“No.”

I said, “Did you ever told your mother?”

She said, “Once I told her and she said, this is the process of growing and if you ever come back to me and tell me about your father, you have to find another place.”

I said, “What happened thereafter?”

She said, “After that, my brothers and my father totally became open, they didn’t even care where I am, somebody catch me in the kitchen, somebody catch me in the bedroom, somebody catch me…”

Now I am asking you, what you can tell her? But, she has a same vote as anybody has, she has the same rights as everybody else, she has the same situation, she is believed as she should be but what is inside? It’s the shell, what do you call that shell? It’s the mussel. What do you call those cells?

Students: Oyster.

YB: No, no oyster, those guys, they break on their chest and eat it ah, what they call (?) who run in water, what they call them?

Students: (------)

YB: Not Seal, (?), otter, don’t you like that funny thing, that otter goes underneath bring this and they beat it on their chest and open it up and eat the mussel out of it, don’t you feel ah, seals can’t do that, those hairy guys what they call them?

Students: (------)

YB: Beavers, otters, this all family, they take these, what you call them, oysters and they take the mussel out and eat it, right. But there are some oysters which get little sand in them and they can produce the?

Students: Pearl.

YB: Hmm, that you like. So all of you who do not have that little discipline of me in me and do not understand that little polarity is with everybody to be shared, to save me as me, will never get the pearl of life. And value of the oyster and that meat is much less than the pearl though that makes the pearl. Your life is just a shell and mussel meat, then sell it please, very cheap. You got to produce in you little bit of pearl. Your shell is good, look at the mirror, I have seen somebody. About thirty hours you know, get going, same thing, yesterday, today it’s the same of you. And mussel, body, odor, scents, the, the, the fashion, good too. What about inside? Where is the pearl? Pearl only will happen if there is a little piece of sand sticking somewhere, it will create little irritation, it will transform itself to pearl. Break every pearl, underneath you will find a piece of sand. That little discipline, that little exercise, exercise of what? Self-sacredness. Exercise your?

Students: Self.

YB: Self-sacredness, it will give you self-respect, self-identity, self-self. Sing that, ‘We are the Khalsa.’

(Students sing, ‘We are the Khalsa…’)

(Students stop singing)

YB: Your children sing it, you neither sing it nor you practice it. Two things which you have taught me are the mightiest of you, you wrote those songs, I didn’t. One thing you sing before every ceremony, what is that?

Students: (------)

YB: How you start, start it.

(Students sing ‘Many speak of courage…’)

YB: Now wait, do you believe it?

Students: Yes sir.

YB: All right, read the next line.

(Students sing)

YB: Have you tried that?

Students: Yeah.

YB: If you understand the meaning of these two lines, you don’t need anybody, you are a God living within yourself and this song is yours, I didn’t bring it from India, I didn’t even share with you. But it’s so real.

Once somebody told me, “I cannot live in the face of death.”

I said, “You have to, there is no option.”

Simply the question is, in the face of death, you live like brave, live like Khalsa, live like pure or you live like coward, that is the point. This choice we don’t have whether we want to live or we don’t want to live, each day death faces us and life goes on.

Somebody once said to me and quote unquote, YogiYogi One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. One who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery. Bhajan dated such and such. Okay. Somebody said, “I hate so and so.”

I said, “Sure, you should and you would and you might be.”

“Am I right?”

I said, “No.”

“Why not? Prove it to me, she is this, she is that, she is that,” you know all that big line.

I said, “Yeah, you have the right to hate because you do not know what love is.”

“How come?”

I said, “Those who love never hate, those who hate have never learned what love is.”

You cannot be at night and you cannot be at the same time during the day, though here if it is night, somewhere there is a day but here there is night. Those who are, those who know to love they do not know to hate and those who hate have never learned to love. You can say it. Because love sees nothing, love is blind. You fall in love, all you know is how to make love, you do not know how to fall in love. You make love and you unmake love, congratulation, it’s a good thing, it looks good, isn’t it. Have you watched sometime porno movies, you must have, you are not that kosher, have you seen those movies making love, how does it feel?

Students: Boring.

YB: You know, watch it sometime. Take a porno movie and see them making love, you will be shocked, they do the same thing, in the same manner, same and again and again, till you become bored to death. Because love is a very subtle, sophisticated, etherical, sky like, everlasting, everywhere, sense and state of mind. It is only love because of that we could be sacrificing, it is only because of love we will be loving, it’s out of love that we become God, it is out of love that God comes and bent and bows before us. Love is nothing, that power of compassion, it’s a part of that compassion which has no end, never was, nor is, nor shall be, that is what GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Guru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. NanakGuru Nanak First Guru of the Sikhs. said,

‘Aad sach, Jugad sach, Hai bhee sach Nanak hosee bhee sach.’

Truth and compassion are the same thing said in different words.

The infinite truth. Love has trust forever, love has these three qualities, love has trust, love has kindness and love has sacrifice. Until these three things are not put together in equal proportion, there is no such thing as love.

Just remember, when you were in love with somebody were you unkind to that person? Will you not do everything for that person? Were you not trusting that person? And when you are not in love, did all these three appeared anywhere? Everything has polarity but one thing, compassion. Seven stages of happiness, count them, commitment.

Students: (------)

YB: Character, commitment will give you?

Students: Character.

YB: That will give you?

Students: Dignity.

YB: Dignity, that will give you?

Students: Grace.

YB: That will give you?

Students: (----)

YB: That will give you?

Students: (----)

YB: That will give you power to sacrifice and that will give you happiness. There are seven steps to happiness, beyond that nobody can get it. You know how you want to give (?) happiness, you want to put yourself into it, in return you want happiness, that’s your biggest foolish folly. For you, in exchange happiness is not available, you cannot produce happiness by giving self you, you can mould yourself and get to the steps and happiness will be always yours. How can you standing on first step and you want that happiness when it is on the seventh step? You must move, life is a flow, go and get it. You know what you do? I give you myself, you give me happiness, don’t you do that? Happiness, hey. You didn’t read the whole relationship, now read happiness first.

Student: Feeling or showing pleasure or contentment, fortunate; (?) behavior very (?) pleasing, happily, happiness, happy go lucky. Taking events cheerfully as they are happening, as they happen. Happy (?), something that achieves satisfactory avoidance of the extremes.

YB: There is only one word in it which really expresses happiness, start from the beginning.

Student: Feeling or showing of pleasure or contentment.

YB: Contentment, happiness actually means contentment.

‘Bina santog nahi koi raji.’

GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. says, without contentment there is nobody king, everybody is a beggar, there is only one king who is content. All right, there is a trouble, there is a coercion, there is a lawsuit, there is a slander, there is a blackmail, count eight, twenty things. How can a yogiYogi One who has attained a state of yoga (union) where polarities are mastered and transcended. I am not changing the horses in the middle. When I came fifteen, sixteen years ago I told you, I am nothing, nothing was, nothing shall be but I am a zero, when you multiply with me, you will become zero and zero is contentment, zero is happiness.

‘Shunnah karai shyunaah.’

YB: The entire world shall come to contentment. In God we?

Students: Trust.

YB: Do you? Do you believe that God is the owner of planet earth, do you? Are you sure? Then why you are hustling because there is a magazine with this name, ah?

How many of you read RehirasRehiras One of the daily prayers of the Sikhs, recited in the evening which adding energy to one's being. ? Lot of you.

‘Sal pattar may janto paya taka rajik agey kartariya. Mere Madho jiJi Soul; used as an endearment or sign of respect. sadh sangatSadh Sangat Literally "congregation of the disciplined ones"; company of the holy. mile sukariya.’

The God has created the creation in the stone, in the very stone their livelihood He has provided first. My beloved one, mere Madho jiJi Soul; used as an endearment or sign of respect. ; my beloved one, sadh sangatSadh Sangat Literally "congregation of the disciplined ones"; company of the holy. (?), in the company of the holy, truthful people you always go across, you will never fail, you will never falter. Arey,

‘Jab dant na deeyo to doodh deey-o, Jab daant dee-e to aann na dega.’

When you never have the teeth, you had the milk and a nurse with it and now He has given you teeth, He won’t give you food? He may not give you rain. You know, when this Haile Selassie, they told him that he is a old idiot and we don’t need him a king Ethiopia and all that? They ended that era? You know next year famine started. Ethiopia became Godless, it was a reflex of very divine energy, it got destroyed.

Look what happened and watch my words, they stop the worship in Golden Temple for four days. Just four days, there was no prayer done in Golden Temple for four days except slaughter of the innocent and watch out what happens to the planet earth. We’ll see, because two-third is water and two-third is unknown and one-third is known. Power is in the two-third or the one-third, which is powerful?

Students: (------)

YB: With all our might the area didn’t get the rain, what we are getting now? Death. We are singing, collecting money for what? To save people. Just one big rain can save the whole lot but no, there is no rain. Because the psyche has been disturbed, therefore learn in relationship, don’t disturb anybody’s psyche. If you cannot truthfully help somebody, don’t misguide people.

Side B

You are afraid of your own trouble, just say, ‘I am sorry.’ If you do not have courage, then don’t speak about it, otherwise act, doesn’t matter what. If you want to love and you are in love then go through it, in the words of GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. Guru Gobind Singh Tenth Guru of the Sikhs. Gobind SinghGuru Gobind Singh Tenth Guru of the Sikhs. .

‘Jeh tohe prem khelan ka chao, sarta tali gali mariyao, iss marg peir tarijiye, sirr dijiye, kan na kijiye.’

If you want chao, if you want to enjoy the game of love, ‘(?) jeh tohe prem khelan ka chao,’ if you want to play the game of love, if you want?

Students: To play the game of love.

YB: Want, first whether you want or not, check it out. If you want to play the, pray the game of love, ‘jeh tohe prem khelan ka chao, sarta tali gali mariyao,’ then put your head on your palm of your hand and walk in my street, that means leave the ego home. ‘Jeh tohe prem khelan ka chao, sarta tali gali mariyao, iss marg peir tarijiye,’ if you put a foot on this path of love, game of love, ‘iss marg peir tarijiye sirr dijiye, kan na kijiye,’ then offering head you should not hesitate at all. And same GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. “Sach kahu sinlio saba jan, jin prem kiyo tinhi prepayao.’

Say I truth let all people hear, those who will love, shall find God, rest is all hanky-panky, it won’t work. What is love? Falling in love, not making love. Arey, if somebody says, ‘I love you,’ you’ll say, ‘prove it.’ Can love be proved? Can God be found? God can be experienced and love can be experienced. It is a plan, a place, where you within you, in your soul, mind and self, lives. It is that compassionate truth.

‘Sach khand ki baniBani Literally "Word", Refers to the Word of God contained in the Sikh Sacred Writings; Banis refers to Sikh daily prayers. jo dithey aur na koi ho.’

Sach khand has that baniBani Literally "Word", Refers to the Word of God contained in the Sikh Sacred Writings; Banis refers to Sikh daily prayers. , that’s expression, experience, baniBani Literally "Word", Refers to the Word of God contained in the Sikh Sacred Writings; Banis refers to Sikh daily prayers. experience hai na. ‘Sach khand ki baniBani Literally "Word", Refers to the Word of God contained in the Sikh Sacred Writings; Banis refers to Sikh daily prayers. jor,’ it’s such a powerful expression. ‘dethy hor na koi ho,’ there is nothing else. Before compassion there is no logic, there is no reason, there is no loss, there is no gain, there is nothing ugly, nothing beautiful, that’s what love is. That’s why love is blind, it sees nothing, it is what it is. Loss and gain is business, logic and reason is intellectualness. Arey, if you want to play the power of polarities, you will be wasting this most precious life, please don’t play it, play the game of love and be headless, what anybody can do to you?

Let us with one voice, today play that song, ‘Himalaya,’ with one voice, one act, each one of you should look as one, is that possible?

(Students sing, ‘Bring your troubles to me…’)

YB (talks over the song): That’s it, that’s it, seven steps. Keep up, keep up.

(Students stop singing)

YB: Tonight we have, this is not working dear? Kiran did you go to sleep? Tonight we have among us a very beautiful woman, you have met her, she was Secretary of State for State of New Mexico. Just out of love she has appeared. I like to ask her to come and say few words with you, then we’ll continue the class though, don’t run away.

(Students applaud)

YB: It’s all yours. She’s dressed white, can you believe it.

(Students applaud)

YB: Very good woman, listen to her.

Shirley: (?) you once again a year ago and (?) I am prepared, this is the first time I am not prepared (?).

(Students applaud)

YB: You know, Shirley became Secretary of State, she should have become minister for Divinity for the state.

(Students applaud)

And sometime, sometime I understand, it’s very easy for me as a oriental to understand what devotion is but in the western mind it’s a very rare thing and one thing Shirley (?) is that she is a very devoted person, within her own self, by her own rights. Not only that she is not religious, she’s compassionate too, she is a good old friend, she sometimes say good words about me, that’s so kind of her, you know it’s once a while in the blue moon you listen to that, it’s, it’s very encouraging.

But, and she knows that from seven o’clock in the morning till eleven o’clock at night, every phone call and every conversation is nothing but, “I sneezed yesterday, do you think my husband is doing something to me?” Oh yeah, (?) my day sometimes starts with a very single paraphrase, “Do you love me?” I say, “Who are you?” I mean, I want to know, is there anything in the world which is not love? Where I honestly believe, hatred is nothing but unprocessed love.

I mean, you must understand, there is a only one problem in this life, we are so much perfectly made by God that we are the one who try to experience in perfection. Now God wants to retire you, He took away your eyes, you can’t read after forty-fifty, then we start putting glasses on, okay. Then after that He wants you not to eat, He took away all your teeth, you put a new set on. Then He almost bent you and you straightened out, you know, put a stainless steel rod in the spine these days and straightened out the person. We are competing our own retirement rather than enjoying it.

One thing about Shirley is that, she said, “If I would not met Hari.” She doesn’t understand or she understand but to her devotion in her heart she understand what Hari means. Hari means living God and she must have been calling Hari many, many times and just by calling, Hari blessed her, we didn’t do a thing. And now she says, “Who blessed her?” No, she blessed her, by calling Hari; Hari this, Hari that, now Hari understood it Sherley is calling Hari, Hari had to respond and Hari was very good in responding to her and that was one-third of Hari, which she know.

Naturally when she called Hari one-third, two-third also responded. She knows it, she feels it but she is unable to express it and when she start expressing, tears comes out of it, it’s a pure joy for her. After all Sherley, it’s nothing but word. In the beginning there was a word, word was God and word was God. So you got the best opportunity, the word that you called Hari and Hari came, so one-third of Hari came and two-third God with it, have fun, life is yours. People do not understand what is in the name, there is everything in the name. That’s what I was telling you that day, word is, ‘WOR?’

Students: D.

YB: Put ‘S’ with it becomes what?

Students: Sword.

YB: Same spelling, add just an ‘S’ to it. Spell God?

Students: GOD.

YB: Spell good?

Students: GOOD.

YB: Just one ‘O’ extra. You know how good is? First God, then put an extra ‘O.’ And what is God? Generating, organizing and destroying power, it mean totality. Everything has polarity except truth and truth is nothing but a living compassion. That is where we goof, we do not understand the meaning of truth, truth is living compassion.

All right, now we’ll play one more song and you will sit here and watch and promises. Sit down, sit down they know what to do. Sit.

Peter didn’t do it justice to it.” But I happened to like it so much, I said, “Shut up that’s it, we are not going to change it, it’s the way it is and that’s the way it is going to be.” Because what reminded me that day, we went to lunch and I told you that story, there was no chance of a parking place and she said, I said, “You are not going to get parking place here, we get down here, you park and I will go with you.”

She said, “Believe me, GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru. It can be a person, a teaching, or in its most subtle form - the Word. And I said, “Not today.” And just when I said, not today, the lights switched on and this guy, God knows he was sleeping or what, he pulled his car out and she parked it, so…

YB: The word devotion is the most powerful word among the words. Ah, devotion.

Student: Devotion – A great love or loyalty, enthusiastic zeal, religious worship.

YB: Now you understand, say it here, repeat this, many people have not listened, come here. Devotion.

Student: Devotion – A great love or loyalty, enthusiastic zeal, religious worship.

YB: You know, why devotion is very powerful? When you are in the state of devotion, it will project emotion which shall bring God into the form in which, in devotion you shall project. Almighty God which is subject to nothing becomes a object, not a subject, object. That is the power of the process of devotion. You know, God is everywhere, there is no reason to find Him, He is everywhere, He is all set, right. When a devotee projects the need, wish, desire, then the God totally mint itself, I am using the word itself, I am not using the word himself or herself, I am using the word itself, to that form to suit that way.

The power of devotion is the only power which can bring Infinity into zero, shunya. Power of the devotion is the essence of the living experience, we’ll that discuss tomorrow.

I would like you to sing that Millis tune just to, just to send vibrations to the fallen souls, those who couldn’t pray, we are asking GuruGuru That which takes us from ignorance to knowledge; from darkness, gu, to light, ru.
